Title: The Ring Carriers By: Moondreams16 Rating: G Notes: Maybe it was fate we found the Scouts and each other. Maybe it was just plain and simple luck. But what matters is that we were reunited. You have all probably heard of the rainbow crystal carriers. We are like them, almost. We are the ring carriers. "AHHHH I AM LATE!" I yelled and flew out of bed. So this wasn't the way I wanted to start the first day of school. Who does? I quickly change and run out the door. Alright while I am running to school I guess I must introduce myself. My name's Jodie Walker and I am a Ring Carrier. I am also 17 years old, white hair, dark blue eyes and weigh about...Oh never mind. You get the picture. You may ask, what's a ring carrier? Well I suppose I must explain. About a thousand years ago, there was a queen that ruled the moon. That's right the moon. Weird as it may seem its true. Well she gave a group of teenagers' power to control the elements. To each teenager, she gave a ring of an element. My element is Sky. There are 7 of us. We helped defend the kingdom with the protectors of the planets, the Sailor Senshi. They are much more powerful then we are but we can still do a lot with our powers. But beside my power of sky, I am a regular teenager. Well, then again maybe not. I am dreadfully shy a lot of times. And when I try to talk to someone new, my mouth refuses to work right. And I wear these thick glasses. I hate them but my mom refuses to let me wear contacts. Alright finally, I slip into my seat before the tardy bell rings. But someone wasn't that lucky and comes flying in through the door only to trip over the trash can and crash face first on the floor. So this must be the new girl Dominique told me about. Serena Tskino newly transferred to West Field High school from Crossroads High school, our rival school. Who's Dominique you ask, well I'll show you. She's the tall girl sitting at the far corner desk talking to another girl. Her silvery green hair suits her well. And so does her gray eyes. She's the star player on our basketball team. She knows just about everything that's going on at our school. Like for example, who's going out with who and what someone said to another person. She's always trying to win contests also. Like those ones on soda that always read, try again and keep drinking Pepsi. Does anyone ever win those things? The girl she's talking to is my best friend, Noel. Noel is one of the sweetest people alive. She is always happy and smiling. Not saying she doesn't have her ups and downs because she does. I've never known her to lose her temper either. She doesn't judge or pick on people. Maybe that was because she can't hear very well. She is servely hard of hearing and has to wear hearing aids. She can't hear normal voices so she has to read lips. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. She loves animals especially cats. If you go to her house you would find that out real quick. She has 6 of them. Her long purple hair suits her very well. She puts it back in with 4 scrunchies. I always think she looks like Princess Jasmine from the Disney movie Aladdin. She also has dark green eyes. Over there is her brother, Dakota. He thinks he is all that because he is a senior this year. I have to give this to him, he won't stand for anyone making fun of his sister. Like last year one of those annoying freshmen, who for some reason think they are all big and bad, started laughing at Noel for not hearing the question. He asked if she was deaf or something then Dakota spoke up and said, "No she's hard of hearing you moron." Not lying, those were his exact words. He also happens to be very handsome. He has hair the color of copper, a mix reddish brown and blonde. He also had dark brown eyes. He also has bad taste in girls. See the girl who is hanging all over him? That's his latest girl friend, the most popular girl in school, Angel. She looked like an angel too with golden blonde hair and blue eyes. She also happens to be a major snob. Oh yeah and see those guys in the corner there? They probably are arguing over sports again. The one with the black hair and bluish green eyes, his name is Jesse. He's star of the swim team. The other one is Casper. I personally don't like him very well. Ok so he happens to look positively stunning with that dark brown hair and green eyes but I hate him any way. He tripped me in the hall in front of the entire school body last year. And I think that is reason enough for me to dislike him. Anyway he is the captain of the foot ball team. "That be one tardy Miss. Tskino. Make sure this doesn't happen again," said the teacher. Mrs. Haney was her name and she is one of the strictest teachers alive. Serena let out a groan and set beside me. Noel moved to the other desk beside me. "Welcome to West Field. I'm Noel," spoke up Noel. Always count on Noel to welcome a new kid. "I am Serena," said Serena as she glanced around the room. "Oh and this is Jodie. She's my best friend but she's really shy," said Noel. I grew hot with embarrassment. Don't know why, I just did. Usually when Noel introduces me like that, which she often does, it doesn't bother me at all. Well this time was defiantly different. "Hi" said Serena with a grin. A girl with dark raven hair walked in. I guess I better introduce her as well. Her name is Rei Hino. There is no way you want to cross her path when she's angry. Even all the guys are scared of her. "Hey Meatball head, what are you doing here? Haruna kick you out?" asked Rei with a snicker. "Very funny, Phyro, but it was all Mom's and Dad's idea. They were afraid I was being too distracted with my friends so they sent me here," said Serena grumpily. "Tough break, looks like we're gonna be stuck together all year," said Rei. "Great," mumbled Serena. To be continued...
