Mina, this means I love you - chapter 2

Notes:  Alright, you must have thought the first one was good enough to read
chapter 2. I don't own Sailor Moon or any of it's characters. I do own this
story and all of my 'other' characters. Enjoy

        The girls crowded together to look at the flyer advertising the new
Tokyo Center of Fine Arts.
Ami who had gotten out her calculator said, " Since there is five of us
signing up we can get the group discount. All right so the total amount
comes to $30 dollars each. So what classes should we sign up for?"
        "I am signing up for the cooking class. There are going to be chiefs
from Paris, can you imagine anything so fabulous?" exclaimed Lita with joy.
The others laughed at her delight.
        "Can you imagine the food?" asked Serena with a dreamy look on her
face as she licked her lips at the thought. The others laughed harder.
"I am defiantly signing up for a singing class so I can grace the world with
this voice of mine," said Rae proudly. The others groaned at this even
though they knew that she sang very well.
        "Well she'll defiantly fail if they are grading on being humble,"
laughed Serena.
        "Nobody asked you Meatball head! What are you going to sign up for?
Blonde Ditz class? " snapped Rae. All the others sighed. This was normal for
the pair.
        "For your info, I am signing up for drama," said Serena as she stuck
out her tongue at Rae.
        "Knock it off guys! I think I'll sign up for ballet. I could use
some improving in my dancing," said Mina.
        "Whatever Mina! You dance perfectly!" exclaimed Serena and Mina
blushed at her compliment.
        "I think I'll sign up for web page design class," said Ami. None of
her friends were surprised. Ami was a very smart and analytical person.
        "Alright since that is done. All we need to do is come up with the
money," said Lita.
        "Hey are all of you coming to that concert tonight. The guys are
playing," exclaimed Serena.
The faces of the girls lit up with this piece of news. "I know Chad has been
practicing forever. Believe it or not but with the guys he sounds half way
descent," said Rae an honest expression on her face.
        "So you want to meet at Tokyo Concert Hall at 6:00?" asked Serena.
All of them nodded except for Ami. "I can't. I got to study," exclaimed Ami.
This was no big surprise to the rest of the girls.

        The concert hall was crowded with many excited teenagers. The girls
pushed their way trying to get to the front seats that they had tickets for.
Rae had been the one who got the tickets but all the girls knew that she got
them from Chad.
        "Can you believe it?! This is going to be soooo cool!" squealed
Lita.
        "Darien's gonna be singing too. You know I've never heard him sing,"
said Serena with a dreamy look on her face.
        "Get over it! Boy, do you ever look so pitiful!" snapped Rae but she
was smiling as she was doing it revealing that Rae wasn't really that
annoyed at Serena.
        "Just think of all the cute guys around, Mina. I bet one of them
will have his eyes on you tonight. Mina, you are so lucky!" exclaimed Lita
not noticing her friend's downcast face.
        "Hey guys, I'm gonna get something to drink," said Mina not really
caring if they heard her.
Mina pushed her way through the crowd, which was no easy task. She got to
the concession booth and bought a soda. Then she leaned against a wall and
watched the excited people passing by. Mina wished she had somebody who was
dependent and reliable for a boyfriend. Somebody she could snuggle up to
during a movie and who would kiss her goodnight. She took a sip of her Pepsi
to find it was almost flat. Then suddenly the wall, which supported her,
gave way and Mina let out a little yell and braced herself to come in
contact with the floor. A pair of strong hands prevented this. She looked up
at her rescuer and let out a little gasp. It was that same guy who was at
the airport. The whole world suddenly stopped and they just looked at each
other. The guy finally spoke, " Do we always to meet in such peculiar
positions?" he asked with a grin and lifted Mina to her feet. Mina blushed.
"Do you always get embarrassed so easily?" he asked and grinned even wider
at Mina's shocked look.
        "Hey I better go. The concert...what?" Mina broke off and looked at
the guy who was looking her over.
        "Don't hate me for saying this, but has anyone ever told you that
you look..." he suddenly broke off, blushed, and said, " very pretty. We
better get going back in the auditorium or we are going to miss the
concert," said the guy making Mina blush again. She grinned up at him as he
held out his arm. She took and they walked back into the auditorium. Mina
led him to where the others were sitting waiting for the concert to begin.
Lita let out a loud whistle.
        "Didn't take you long to find him did it?" exclaimed Lita. Mina
looked up at the guy to see if how he reacted to Lita's comment. He was
grinning. "Hey, I am Serena, this is Rae, the one with the big mouth is Lita
and I guess you know Mina," introduced Serena thinking mentally that she had
never seen Mina so happy with a guy or as red.
        "I am Robin. Nice to meet all of you," said Robin with a grin as he
held out his hand. The girls gasped it one by one and shook it. When Mina
took his hand, he held out her hand and brought it to his lips. Lita nudged
Mina with an elbow. "You go girl. Even Darien won't to that for Serena!"
laughed Lita. Mina blushed more. "Does she always stay red like this?" asked
Robin. "Only with you around," laughed Rae.
        "Hey quiet. The concert is starting," said Serena. The groups
sounded great as one by one came up on stage. Mina glanced at Robin ever so
often to see if he was enjoying the concert. He seemed to enjoy hard rock
and music with a good beat, while she enjoyed soft pop and regular pop. Then
suddenly the curtain was lowered on the last group. The audience held their
breathes in anticipation. The curtain raised slowly emitting a low blanket
of fog to come off the stage toward the audience. "Alright People! You've
heard a lot of good bands but be prepared to be blown away by Universal
Moon!" yelled Chad making the audience go wild. "On the drums we have
Andrew! On the keyboard we have the newest member of Tokyo Collage, Rick. By
the way, ladies, he's available. On the electric guitar we have Darien Chiba
and Yours truly, Chad, is the lead singer. So let the party begin!" yelled
Chad. The crowd was going crazy at this point. Their first song was very
good with Chad singing. Even Rae had to admit that Chad was good as a
singer. "Alright, this is going out to a special lady," said Chad a bit
mysteriously.
Darien started the song in his rich tenor voice.

Then all the guys joined in.

(Since I am no good at poetry or song writing I used 'Because of you' from
98°. So don't sue me)
Serena was standing up staring at Darien with her mouth wide open. She never
knew that he could ever sing like that. "Shut that trap of yours! We don't
want you slobbering all over yourself," snapped Rae but not even Rae's
comments could affect Serena.

The song ended with a deafening thunder of applause. The girls covered their
ears and screamed. Mina looked over at Robin and to her surprise was just
clapping. The rest of the audience was going wild. Somehow Mina expected
Robin to react more to this but then again she didn't know that much about
his personality to judge how a person is to react.  The audience suddenly
started pouring out of the auditorium for the concert was over. Serena led
the others to the backstage door. She opened it to find Darien waiting.
        "That was amazing, Darien! I never knew you could sing like that!"
exclaimed Serena as she threw her arms around Darien's neck. The others
turned their heads as the couple kissed.
        "So who is this Mina? A new date?" asked Darien with a mischievous
grin.
        "This is Robin. Robin this is Serena's boyfriend, Darien," said
Mina. Mina secretly wanted to wipe the smirk off Darien's face.  Robin
glanced down at Mina enjoying the slightly annoyed look on her face. Mina
must have felt him looking at her when she looked at him and said,
        "Robin, hello earth to Robin! Darien just asked you how you liked
the concert," said Mina with a frown.
        "Sorry, I enjoyed the concert very much," said Robin as he turned a
little red. Darien gave him a knowing smile. It was easy to get lost in your
own little world when you were holding an angel. Darien knew this from
experience.
        "This is the guy I told you about the one that Mina knocked down at
the airport when Rita thought he was stealing her baggage and Mina attacked
him but it turns out that Robin wasn't stealing baggage. So Mina had to get
off him and then she met him here. Isn't that right, Robin?" rattled Serena
quickly hardly taking a breath between the sentences.
        "Hold on Serena, do you mind repeating that? I only got half of it,"
said Robin.
        "Don't worry, Robin, when this ditz rattles there is nobody on this
planet that can understand her," laughed Rae. Robin noticed Serena look a
bit hurt.
        "Oh I'm sure that's not true but it's hard for me to understand a
person if they are not facing me," commented Robin. "Why?" asked Lita very
curious at this point.
        "Because I am deaf and I am reading her lips," commented Robin.
