Title: The forgotten Guardian- chapter 4 Rating: G By: moondreams16 The night was unusually quiet and still. The only noise was the rustling of fallen leaves and twigs under feet whose owners were trying to make as little noise as possible. A crisp wind blew somehow making the brilliantly glowing stars even brighter against the velvety black sky. The moon was a dazzling white that casted errie shadows on the group. A glowing golden sphere in Travis's hand was the only source of light. Finally they stopped in a clearing that was lit with moonlight streaming from lofty tree branches. "When is the door supposed to appear?" asked Rae a little unsure. "I don't know," answered Travis. Serena agreed quietly. "Maybe we should transform," suggested Lita. Th others agreed. "Moon Crystal Power," said Serena knowing that that it would be best it they didn't yell and attract attention. Rainbows surrounded her. "Mercury Star Power," said Ami. Water encircled her. "Mars Star Power," said Rae. Fire enclosed her. "Jupiter Star Power," said Lita. Lightning swirled around her. "Venus Star Power," said Mina and stars surrounded her like a golden ribbon. Darien said nothing but pulled a red rose from nowhere and changed into Tuxedo Mask. "Sun Star Power," said Travis. A blinding light surrounded him. The other Scouts were used to this and closed their eyes to avoid the blinding light. The Scouts didn't have to wait before an angry voice called out, "So what do we have her? A group of Sailor brats huh?" "Sun sphere light," commanded Sailor Sol as another ball of light appeared. The owner of the voice didn't avoid the light. The speaker was a man of about 30 years. A mope of dull blonde hair fell into a menacing set of green eyes. He was dressed in a silver suite observably to show his rank and statue. A scowl was on his face. "Scilite!" gasped Sailor Mercury. "Correct Sailor Brat!" scowled Scilite. There was silence as each side watched the other looking for any signs of preparing to fight. "What do you want?" asked Sailor Mercury with crossed arms as she glared at Scilite. Scilite ignored her question. "Where's the door?" asked Scilite surprising the Scouts. "What are you talking about? What door?" asked Sailor Venus pretending to know nothing. Scilite didn't believe it for a moment. " You know exactly which door I am talking about Sailor Brat!" growled Scilite. "Hey nobody talks to my friends like that without going through me first! Prepare to get burned Scilite! Mars Celestial Fire Surround!" yelled Sailor Mars sending rings of fire toward Scilite. "Pleeaassee, can't you do any better then that?" asked Scilite as he formed a protective shield around him. "Come forth Vineya and destroy these brats," yelled Scilite. A cloud of green smoke rose from the earth. A figure emerged from the cloud. It was a female looking like a tree with roots for legs and long vines for arms. She immediately started to try to wrap her long vine arms around the Sailor Scouts. "Venus Love Chain Surround!" yelled Sailor Venus and the chain wrapped its self around one of Vineya's arms giving Sailor Mercury time to escape an oncoming vine. "Solar sword Slash!" yelled Sailor Sol as he pulled out his sword and cut off one of the arms. Vineya screamed in either pain or furry. To the scout's amazement, another arm grew from the stump. "Mercury Ice Storm Splash!" shouted Sailor Mercury. The ice storm froze Vineya but almost immediately Vineya shook off her icy covering. "Mars can you do anything?" asked Sailor Moon barely missing one of Vineya's arms. "No! I used what little energy I had on that jerk, Scilite! I am still to weak from last night," yelled Sailor Mars very angry. Suddenly a flash of silver landed in the earth with a blinding light that accompanied by an explosion of sparks. The silver object was a silver rose. The scouts looked at Tuxedo mask for expiation. "Hey don't look at me. It wasn't mine," he said. "Hey I'll bet fire will take this thing out. Solar Blast!" yelled Sailor Sol. The sun fire consumed Vineya. "You young fool! You ruined my plans. Nega light blast!" yelled Scilite aiming at Sailor Sol. But before he could form enough power for a hit another flash of silver flew through the air and hit Scilite. The hit revealed 6 long scratches of blood forming on Scilite's cheek. The attacker was a silver and white falcon. "Hurry Sailor Moon. Vineya's trying to coming back," yelled Tuxedo Mask. The blacked form of Vineya was growing sprouts of green. "Moon Scepter Elimination!" yelled Sailor Moon as she took out her scepter and sent energy blasting toward Vineya. Vineya denigrated. The Sailor Scouts watched as the falcon landed near the rose. Suddenly a silver door rose slowly out of the earth. "The door!" exclaimed Scilite and moved toward it. "Don't thinks so Scilite," yelled Sailor Moon as she grabbed her brother's hand. "Sun Deo Power!" they both yelled. Scilite closed his eyes against the blinding light that followed. Instead of Sailor Moon was a girl in a gold and yellow sailor suite. "Come on guys. Move toward the door. Solar Light Wall Protect," yelled Sailor Sun. The group obeyed as a golden force field went up shielding them from Scilite. "You'll pay for that Sailor Brats," he yelled after them as one by one stepped through the silver door. The Scouts gasped as they stepped through the door into a dazzling room of white marble trimmed in silver. Beautiful tapestries hung on the walls. A huge round table of mother of pearl was in the middle of the room. Delicate chairs of gold and mother of pearl surrounded the table. "We're in the Moon Palace. I remember this room. Mother had her meetings here with the Silver Alliance and ambassadors," said Sailor Sun with amazement as a flood of memories came back to her. "So what are we supposed to get?" asked Sailor Jupiter. Sailor Sol shrugged and said," Maybe this falcon knows." He held out his arm and the falcon landed on it. Suddenly the Sailors heard some voices. "This isn't wise, Your Majesty. How can you sign a peace treaty with your enemies?" asked a deep male voice. "I know you mean well, Borealis, but all the killing has to stop and this is the only way I know how to see that it does. How else can I ensure peace for Aurora," said a female voice. "Who's that?" asked Sailor Mars. "I don't know but I think we'll find out in a moment," said Tuxedo Mask and held out one of his red roses as if preparing for an attack on the Scouts. "Ah good work Scouts. You've reached the first door," said Sailor Pluto who just appeared. "Is this the forming of the Silver Alliance?" asked Sailor Venus. Pluto nodded. "Do not fear. No one will be able to see you. Watch and listen, everything will reveal itself in time," said Sailor Pluto and disappeared. An old woman with silvery white hair was the first to come in the room. She wore a sweeping white gown and a regal gold crown adorned her head. "Queen Serenity of the Moon Kingdom and King Sol of the Sun Kingdom," announced the woman. A young woman with silver hair done up in 'meatballs' with a pearl and diamond crown on and was dressed in a silver and white gown walked in gracefully. A tall stately looking young man with golden blonde hair, which held a regal crown, accompanied her, and he was dressed in golden armor. "That's our parents," exclaimed Sailor Sun with amazement. Behind the royal couple was a short plump woman in silver carrying 2 squirming babies in her arms. "Boy, weren't you two cute," said Sailor Mars with a bit of sarcasm. "I think so," said Sailor Sol with a smile. "Presenting King Marcus and Queen Ivy of Jupiter," announced the woman. A young man with green eyes and hair was followed by a beautiful young woman with emerald eyes and deep mahogany brown hair. They were both dressed in green trimmed with gold and emeralds. In Ivy's arms was a cute little girl with huge green eyes and a fluff of brown hair. "Lita, you were adorable!" exclaimed the Sailor Scouts. Lita blushed with the compliment. "Announcing King Aeres and Queen Destiny of Mars," called out the woman. A young couple dressed in red took their seats. A woman pulling a very angry little Rae entered the room. The fiery little princess stomped her foot and ran to her fathers lap at the extreme disapproval of the maid. "You haven't changed all that much Rae," commented Sailor Sun with a laugh. "Shut that trap of yours, Meatball head," said Mars shortly. "Presenting Queen Devona, Prince Versal and Princess Aphrodite of Venus," said the woman. A younger couple in orange followed an elderly stately woman dressed in the same color. Another maid in orange followed them with little Mina. "Announcing King Hermes and Queen Faith of Mercury," said the woman. A young couple dressed in blue came into the room. The man held baby Ami. "Those are my parents!" exclaimed Sailor Mercury in amazement. "Presenting King Stephan, Prince Endymion and Princess Leanora of Earth." A young couple followed an old man in turquoise. A young Darien held on to his mother's hand. His thumb of his other hand was in his mouth. "Ah, Dar, you were pretty cute!" commented Sailor Venus with a smile. "Hey I still am!" announce Tuxedo Mask almost defensively. The scouts laughed over this. Even Sailor Sun had to smile. (yes she is still pretty ticked off at him if anyone is wondering) "Announcing King Aristotle and Queen Divanna of Pluto ," called out the woman. A little girl with forest green hair peeked out from behind her mother's gown. "It's Puu!" laughed Sailor Sun with delight. "Announcing Queen Eclipse of the Light Kingdom." A short petite young woman with white hair walked in gracefully but she was a bit reluctant to do so. Her dress was dazzling rainbow that changed colors when light hit it. A little baby with dark purple eyes was in her arms. "Hey guys. Look. I bet you that is the guy we heard earlier," commented Sailor Mercury as she pointed to a dark male figure, in a doorway, hidden by shadows. The scouts gathered by their parents. Each person rose from their seats and bowed humbly before the woman in white as she took her place at the table. Each person's face showed respect toward this woman. "What ever gave her the nerve to come here?" mumbled King Stephan loud enough for Endymion and Leanora to hear him. He nodded toward Queen Eclipse who had downcast eyes. She appeared to be nervous or intimidated by something unusual. "Shh. Leave her be. Our kingdoms are uniting. Finally we have a chance for peace," said Prince Endymion. "For years out Kingdoms have been quelling and its up to us to preserve peace for out next generation," said the woman as she made a gesture towards the little children. "But will this treaty bring an end to all the robberies in the Light Kingdom of my merchant's goods?" asked King Stephan. Prince Endymion covered his face with his hands in embarrassment. The scouts laughed quietly watching Tuxedo Mask. That was a characteristic of Darien. Queen Eclipse arose slowly from her chair. "Once I find the bandits they will be punished, King Stephan. This treaty was meant for us to forget the past and look toward the future. We must unite as one so our children will rule together in harmony," she announced as she hugged her daughter closer. "But will you keep your promise? You're husband..." started King Stephan but Eclipse interrupted him. "My husband was the finest man I ever knew. Have no fear, your grandson will have my daughter, Aurora, as a wife and my kingdom to rule," said Queen Eclipse. She was shaking with anger but stared fearlessly into Stephen's fiery blue eyes. This had never been attempted before not even by his son and this made Stephan angrier. "That will do," announced the woman in white knowing if this was to continue that their chance at peace would come to an end because of a fight. "Can you imagine their offspring? I am surprised Endymion and Leanora have agreed with all that tainted blood running through that little girl's veins," commented Queen Destiny to her husband. Aeries glared at her to keep her quiet but it was too late. "I heard her husband was of a lower class, So the rumors are true! Is it really true that he was murdered in his bed?" asked Queen Ivy as she leaned over to hear Destiny's answer. "Yes! With Queen Eclipse beside him! They say the murder weapon was an earthen knife!" exclaimed Destiny. "Quiet! This is a treaty signing, not a gossip circle!" snapped Aries making both women stop immediately. "Hey Rae, you sound just like your dad!" laughed Sailor Sun. "Very funny, meatball head. Hey I do, don't I?" said Mars with a grin as if she herself had just realized it. The scouts watched in silence as the treaty was being signed. Tuxedo Mask walked over to Queen Eclipse who was holding her daughter. To Tuxedo Mask's surprise, little Aurora looked right at him, gave him a heart melting grin, and out stretched her arms toward him wanting to be held. He refused however. She smiled anyway. He smiled at her and ruffled her fine black baby hair. "I am surposed to be engaged to her? This little girl? I don't even remember there being a light kingdom," commented Tuxedo in disbelief. One by one the Kings, Queens, Princes, and Princesses left the room. The man in the shadows stopped Eclipse as she passed by. "I still think you are making a big mistake," he commented. "Well I don't!" she snapped and brushed past him. He slammed his fist against the wall and followed her. The silver falcon let out a screech and dropped a glass sphere into Sailor Sol's hands. The sphere was a little smaller then a basketball. "This is the first key, I think," commented Sailor Sol. Suddenly the sphere started shrinking then with a bright flash of light a small glass pendent appeared on a chain. Sailor Sol slipped it over his head. The falcon swooped over the Scouts heads and flew toward a doorway. "Stupid bird!" yelled Sailor Mars shaking a fist at it. "Wait guys I think it is an exit," said Sailor Venus. She was the first to step through. Instead of going to the other room, as most people do when they step through a doorway, she disappeared. The others nodded and followed.
