Title: The Forgotten Guardian- chapter 3

Comments: Alright, I bet all of ya'll are pretty bored with me writing over 
and over again that I don't own Sailor Moon or any of the characters in the 
cartoon or comic book. So this is the last time I will write it. OK? This 
chapter is a bit longer then my other ones I think. This one does have the 
Sailor Scouts fighting. So enjoy! 

The three skaters, Darien, Travis, and Alexis welcomed the cool blast of air 
when they entered the ice cream shop. All three were hot and decided that an 
ice cream cone was just what they needed.
	"Hey guys," called out a voice. The group turned to see Ken and 
another boy whom Alexis didn't know. The three ordered their ice creams and 
sat down at the table with Ken and the other boy. This boy was much younger 
then Ken he was cute with a boyish look about him.
	"Alexis, this is Greg. Greg this is Alexis. Since all of us are 
introduced, let's eat," exclaimed Travis and started eating his huge sundae. 
The group of teenagers laughed in agreement. Alexis watched in amazement as 
Travis ate his huge sundae in what seemed like only 2 minutes.  Ken gave a 
low laugh when he saw Alexis's expression.
	"Don't worry. It's normal for him to eat like that," laughed Ken. 
Travis grinned a bit sheepishly at his comment.
	"It must be hereditary 'cause Serena eats like that to," laughed 
Greg. 
	"So when did you get back in town?" asked Darien in a tone which made 
Alexis think he wanted to change the subject.
	"Yesterday," answered Greg as he took a sip of his soda.
	"Have you seen Ami yet?" asked Travis with a teasing smirk. Everyone 
grinned as color rose to Greg's cheeks.
	"Not yet but I have a date with her tonight. So how's things with you 
and Serena?" asked Greg trying to cover the fact that he desperately wanted 
to change the subject before embarrassing himself any farther. He failed 
miserably. 
	"Not so good. We had a fight and she's refusing to talk to me," said 
Darien quietly. The others looked at him in surprise even Travis surprised 
that his twin told him nothing about this.
	"Alright, let's hear it," commanded Alexis's firmly in a tone, which 
surprised Darien and the other boys a great deal.
	"Well, you see, she wants to invite me to dinner at her house which 
would be fine if it wasn't for her father that happens to hate my guts. Last 
time I went over to her house, her father threatened to go after me with a 
gun and would have if Serena's mom hadn't held him down," explained Darien.
	"He's lucky to have her though. For the longest time I didn't ever 
think the two would admit they cared for each other. He used to practically 
tease Serena to tears about her hair calling her Meatball head," came 
Andrew's voice. 
	"Hey Andrew," greeted the group as Andrew took a seat by Alexis at 
the already crowded table.
	"I remember Sere telling me that! Now she says that's it's a pet name 
and couldn't imagine being called anything else. Goodness only knows, she 
hears the name so often from Rae," laughed Travis.
	"Hey I got it! Travis, do you have a girlfriend?" asked Alexis.
	"No. Why? You interested?" asked Travis with a mischievous grin. 
Alexis cheeks grew red with the comment.
	"Oh shut up," said Alexis with an annoyed tone in her voice. Then she 
continued, " I just thought if Travis brought a girl to the same dinner that 
Serena's dad might worry more about the new girl then about you, Darien." 
	"That's right. He would. Even though I don't live with the Tskinos, 
they still treat me like a member of the family. Mr. Tskino has even 
threatened to ground me a number of times till Mom reminds him that I am not 
part of the family," explained Travis.
	"That's right. Alexis, you're a genius!" exclaimed Darien. The others 
nodded in agreement.
"I'd take a bow but I happen to be rather squished at the moment," said 
Alexis with a grin. The others laughed when they realized how tiny Alexis was 
wedged in between Ken and Andrew. 
	"Before the dinner, you should soften up Serena. We'll have a 
surprise party for the girls!" exclaimed Greg. The others agreed readily. 
	"Alright, meet at my house Thursday at 4:00 and we'll plan it. 
Alexis, I'll drive you there," announced Travis and after whistles from the 
other boys and a lot of blushing on Alexis' part, the group reluctantly left 
the ice cream shop with plans for the party spinning around in their minds.

	"Everything seems to be going as planned, Commander. The Sun Kingdom 
shall surrender any day now. What are the reports?" commanded a dark menacing 
voice from a throne. The figure was hidden in the shadows. A thin man of 
thirty gave a low bow. He had dull blond hair and menacing gray eyes. A scar 
ran down his temple to his cheek. A scowl distorted his facial features.
	"Many of the Super Sailor Scouts have been captured or wounded but 
the only way to take the Sun Kingdom is to annihilate the capital, Golden Sun 
City and it's people," said the commander with bitter hatred in his voice.
	"YOU FOOL! What do you think I've been doing?! Did you take care of 
my cousin?" commanded the shadowed figure angrily. 
	"Almost, Prince Australis. She was wounded but before my warriors 
could finish her off, Neo Queen Serenity encased her in a crystal that 
prevented any farther attacks," explained the commander. Prince Australis 
yelled out in anger and slammed his fist on the armrest of his throne.  "You 
ignorant imbecile. You tell me a whole army couldn't take care of a female 
weakling! She was the key to Tranquillity's undoing! I hope that when you 
arrive in the 20th century you won't fail me. We must find the contents of 
Tranquillity's message!"    

	"Stop right there, Negatrash!" yelled a female voice. The monster 
dropped one of her victims and turned to see the sailor scouts. This monster 
was defiantly a female with lizard like characteristics. "Go away ssssailor 
ssscoutssss," she hissed. "Don't think so, Jupiter Thunderclap Zap!" yelled 
Sailor Jupiter. The flying disks of electric energy and hit the monster 
straight on but didn't affect it. "No way!" exclaimed Sailor Jupiter with 
surprise. "Take this lizard breath, Mars Celestial Fire Surround," shouted 
Sailor Mars. Rings of fire moved toward the monster. The fire hit but did 
nothing to the monster. The monster wrapped a huge tail around Sailor Mars. 
Immediately energy flowed out of Mar's body to the monster. 
"We have to get her out of there now. That monster's taking light energy away 
from her!" yelled Sailor Mercury as she tapped away on a hand held computer.
 "Venus Lovechain Encircle," yelled Sailor Venus. The chain encircled around 
the monster's tail and Sailor Venus held onto the chain's energy and pulled. 
The monster gave a cry and dropped Sailor Mars who fell limply to the ground. 
"Sun Solar Flare!" yelled Sailor Sol as he sent a beam of sun fire toward the 
monster. It didn't affect it at the least. 
"Why hasn't our magic been working, Sailor Mercury?" asked Sailor Jupiter. 
"Moon Tiara Magic!" yelled Sailor Moon and sent her tiara spinning toward the 
monster. The disk cut her but that did little damage. Sailor Moon's tiara 
returned to her.
 "Some reptiles are not affected by heat and electricity but they are 
with...Mercury Ice Storm Splash," yelled Mercury and the monster's eyes 
filled with terror as her body turned to an icicle. "Way to go, Sailor 
Mercury!" yelled the Scouts.
"Moon Scepter Elimination!" commanded Sailor Moon as she waved her ward 
toward the icicle. Just as the monster was about to brake out of her icy 
prison, the scepter's energy disintegrated her. A man appeared in suddenly.
"You haven't won yet Sailor Scouts. I am Commander Scilite of the Nega Light 
Kingdom. You may have won the battle but you will not win the war!" he yelled 
and disappeared.
 "Who says? Big mouth baboon...(mumble)" yelled Sailor Mars ending in a 
mumble. Sailor Mars was to weak to fly into her usual tirade "What is light 
energy?"
"Did you hear? He said Nega Light Kingdom!" exclaimed Sailor Jupiter. 
"Light energy is completely different from the usual energy that you use in 
everyday activities and feelings. That's what every other Nega commander 
collected. Light energy is the part we use to transform and use our weapons. 
Most of the imperial crystal's energy is light energy," explained Sailor 
Mercury. "That doesn't sound good," said Sailor Moon. The others agreed.

Serena ran into the room slamming the door. The other students looked up 
knowing how Ms. Haruna would react. She was in a bad mood this morning. The 
whole class had been walking on egg shells around her.
"Serena, you're late again! There has only been 4 days of school and you've 
been late almost every day! What excuse do you have this time?" yelled Ms. 
Haruna who glared angrily at Serena. 'Well let's see. Oh yes, I transformed 
in to Sailor Moon and saved Tokyo yet again with the Sailor Scouts," thought
Serena. Instead she said, "I overslept." Ms. Haruna rolled her eyes but 
believed it. "Report to detention after school, Serena," commanded Ms. 
Haruna. Serena let out a small groan when she slipped into the desk next 
to Travis's. Travis grabbed Serena's hand. "Where were you?" asked Travis 
knowing that Serena hadn't overslept in a long time. This message was 
sent telepathically. To the twins' amazement they had discovered, during 
the summer, they could chat telepathically while holding hands. 
"There was a monster in the park that the Sailor Scouts had to stop," said 
Serena. Travis's eyebrows furrowed as he frowned. 
"Scilite showed again and said the same thing he did and disappeared before 
receiving any of Mar's long awaited wrath. Ami thinks this newest enemy might 
be one of Beryl's little groups," explained Serena.
"Serena, when you come in late I expect you to at least pay attention in 
class," snapped Ms. Haruna who was still fuming over some unknown reason. The 
twins let go of each other's hands and sat up straighter in their seats.
"Now open your," Ms. Haruna stopped in mid sentence as she suddenly froze in 
her spot. Serena stared at the class around her. They were all frozen. Even 
Travis who was bending down to get a book from his backpack. Suddenly Sailor 
Pluto appeared.
"I should have known it was you, Puu," commented Serena with a bit of a smirk.
 Sailor Pluto smiled warmly.
"Travis told you about the doors and the keys. Now I am here to tell you 
about the objects. A new friend will collect them. The time doors will open 
at night to prevent any people from wondering into them. Don't worry Small 
Lady, the scouts will know where to find them," said Pluto fondly as she 
stroked Serena's hair fondly. Pluto was like a second mother to all the 
scouts. 
"How bad is it?" asked Serena with a frown. Tears started to form in Pluto's 
eyes. "What are you not telling me, Puu? Answer me! What's happening?" almost 
yelled Serena frightened by the cold hand of fear that clutched her heart.
"It's Prince Australis. He's trying to take over the Sun Kingdom so he can 
control the sun and it's energy. All of the super scouts are weak because of 
the stress and energy used to fight this threat. So far Lady and Lord 
Mercury, Lord Jupiter, and Lady Mars have been captured." 'Ami, Greg, Ken and 
Rae,' thought Serena.
"And the others?" asked Serena dryly. 
"Tranquillity's has been wounded and is quickly losing hope," continued 
Pluto.
"Why? What happened? I know you don't like revealing this but I need to know 
any thing that will help us!" exclaimed Serena.
"It was a warm bright sunny day when the Nega Light's attacked. Serenity, 
Endymion, Small Lady, Tranquillity and his fiancée were having a picnic. They 
attacked Tranq first but his fiancé pushed him out of the way taking the hit 
herself. Then Reenie... Rennie ran to her, partly for protection and fear, 
while the others fought. Those monsters hit them with a sphere of Nega Light 
energy. Neo Queen Serenity encased them in a crystal. Both Royal families are 
losing hope. I must go now, small one, but we will see each other again 
soon," said Pluto and she disappeared.
	"...books to page 15," continued Ms. Haruna as the room continued as 
if nothing had happened.

A horn blared as a car screech to a holt barley missing a girl on a bicycle. 
This sudden surprise of the car and her having the right of way made this 
girl waver dangerously unable to control her balance or the bike. She crashed 
into a curb and hit the side of a building falling hard on the pavement. 
Alexis witnessed all of this and skated quickly toward the girl. She reached 
out her hand to help the girl up. The girl took it and shakily got on her 
feet. The girl's blonde hair was a disheveled mess and her light blue eyes 
watered with unwanted tears. 
"Are you ok? I am Alexis," introduced Alexis. The girl gave her a weak smile 
and nodded but Alexis was far from convinced. "I am Mina. Did you see that 
jerk? I had the right of way!" exclaimed Mina. 
"Here sit down. You're knee's bleeding," commanded Alexis firmly and took a 
bandage out of her book bag. She also removed a case of rubbing alcohol. Mina 
said nothing as Alexis bandaged up her knee. Then she removed a small 
screwdriver from her book bag. With it, Alexis made quick work repairing a 
broken chain and a loose wheel on Mina's bike. "Hey thanks. Do you always 
carry around those things?" asked Mina. Alexis gave her a small furtive 
smile.
"Yeah, it's a habit. You see, back in the US I had 5 brothers and sisters. I 
was ready for anything for they were always getting into all kind of 
scrapes," explained Alexis. 
"Thanks again. I'm sorry but I got to go. I'm already late. See ya around," 
said Mina with a smile. Alexis's smile grew wider as she watched Mina pedaled 
off. Finally it seemed she had found a friend that was a girl and close to 
her age.   

"My gosh, Mina, what happened?" exclaimed Serena when her friend hobbled over 
to the group at the temple. 
"One of those stupid drivers who never see bicyclists almost ran me down. 
Fortunately a girl was there and she bandaged my knee and fixed my bike. She 
was the same girl Rae yelled at the last meeting," said Mina.
"Who? Alexis?" asked Travis immediately interested in the conversation. Mina 
nodded. "Alright, come on, this is a scout meeting not a gossip circle to 
talk about what's her name," commanded Rae apparently not liking being 
reminded of the incident with Alexis and Chad.
"Guys listen! Sailor Pluto just visited me. She says that the doors will open 
soon and at night she also said that things are getting pretty bad. We have 
to hurry," said Serena. "How bad?" asked Lita.
"Lord and Lady Mercury, Lady Mars, and Lord Jupiter have been captured..." 
Serena broke off in a sob. The others gasped in surprise at the news. Darien 
resisted with all his might to keep from enfolding Serena in his arms.
"That's not the worst of it, Tranquillity's been wounded slightly and Puu 
fears that her will give up hope and the battle will be lost!" exclaimed 
Serena.
"Why? Why would he give up?" asked Travis in disbelief. 
"Tranq, Endy, Serenity, Rennie and your fiancée were having a picnic when 
Prince Australis attacked," explained Serena before she could continue Travis 
let out a gasp and said, "My fiancée?" His face showed his surprise. Serena nodded.
"They attacked Tranq first but she pushed you out of the way only to receive 
the blast herself. When the rest of us were fighting, Rennie ran to her and 
they...they shot the both of them (tears were coming down Serena's face now) 
Serenity enclosed them in a crystal but there's a good chance they..." at 
this she couldn't talk anymore because of her tears. Darien couldn't resist 
any longer and would have held Serena if Travis hadn't shaken his head and 
mouthed the word 'no'. Then Travis wrapped his arms around his twin and let 
her cry on his shoulder. Darien knew Travis was right. The action Darien was 
about to do would have made Serena feel worse. Darien covered his face with 
his hands in pure dejection. The other girls were quite during all of this. 
"We must find the Sun Guardian if it is the last thing we do!" suddenly 
shouted Lita, breaking the silence. The others took encouragement from this 
statement and each of their faces was set in a look of determination.
