The Forgotten Guardian - Chapter 2 By:Moondreams16 Rating- G This is second part but it's not very long. I've been busy. So send me e-mail and tell me how you like it. Most I always go through this? Sailor Moon character's aren't mine. If they were I'd be rich. Oh well I guess I'll have to continue dreaming Travis woke up with a start. Moonlight streamed from the window across his bed. He looked up at the window to look at the moon, which he always did when he couldn't sleep or a dream disturbed him. A falcon was silhouetted against the white glowing moon. At first Travis thought it was his falcon Apollo, but when he looked closer he could see that this falcon was silvery white. Apollo was golden. He raised his arm slowly and the falcon landed on it. Travis gently stroked its silky feathers. "Who are you?" asked Travis. Of course, he didn't expect an answer but then again he never expected Apollo to talk either or Luna and Artamis. When he came to Japan he never expected to meet the Sailor Scouts. He certainly never expected to find out Serena and her friends were the Sailor Scouts. Then for more surprises, he learned that he was able to transform into Sailor Sol and Serena was his twin sister separated when two different families adopted them. Apollo was his adviser. The falcon looked at him and flew from his arm and out the opened window. "My lady, methinks thee needs some company while you partake in thy lunch," said a male voice. Alexis looked up from her lunch and saw Travis. She looked around to see if he was talking to anyone else. "Me?" she asked unsure if he had been talking to her. "I don't see any other lady who is spending her lunch with out the pleasurement of company," said Travis giving an exaggerated bow. Alexis laughed at this unusual display. "Do you always speak like this?" asked Alexis. "Does my lady thinks me such a knave to give you a little company and then my lady mocks my speech. Thy tongue cuts me to the very depths of my soul. Besides its fun," said Travis ending his speech in his regular voice. Alexis gave him a smile. "Your welcome to sit down...Travis, right?" asked Alexis. "The one and only Travis Watson at your service," said Travis with a smile and sat down. "Do you miss Virginia?" asked Travis. The question caught Alexis unaware. "Yeah, I miss my family and friends. Everybody is so different here. You have been the only one who has even started a conversation with me at school. Everybody else seems to be ignoring me," confessed Alexis. "It'll just take everyone a while to get used to you. Then everybody will try to talk to you at once," said Travis with a smile. Alexis smiled back. "Did I interrupt something yesterday at the temple?" asked Alexis. Travis cringed inwardly at the memory of Rae in her foul mood. He liked Rae a lot but she had a jealous streak but that what made her so loyal to her friends. "Nothing really. Don't worry about Rae, her bark is worse then her bite. She's actually very nice," said Travis. "Yeah, I bet," said Alexis sarcastically. "It's true. She loves to argue and boss everyone around. Usually it's with the people she cares about, like Serena and her boyfriend, Chad," said Travis as he took a bite of an apple. "Serena's got a nice boyfriend. I met him at the arcade," said Alexis. "Yeah, Darien's a cool guy. How about I take you sight seeing tomorrow. Bring your skates," said Travis. Before she could ask any questions the bell rang and they headed in opposite directions. "I wonder what they were talking about during lunch?" said Serena as she tapped a pencil in boredom. "Somebody's jealous. Remember when Travis first came here? Girls practically fainted when he looked at them," said Molly with a sigh. "I am not jealous! I mean he is my brother after all so I have to keep an eye out for him," said Serena. Travis knocked on the Lee's door early the next morning. A very tired looking Bobby answered the door. "Hey Travis. What's up?" asked Bobby with a yawn. "Is Alexis up yet?" asked Travis. There was an evil glint in Bobby's eyes when Travis mentioned Alexis. "She be up an minute now," said Bobby with an impish look on his face. Exactly 2 seconds later there came a scream. "Brat, you are going to die!" screamed Alexis's voice from upstairs. A very wet and very angry Alexis in a nightgown holding a bucket ran down the stairs toward Bobby. She threw the bucket's contents toward Bobby only to realize that the water was heading toward Travis. Alexis wanted to close her eyes but she couldn't miss seeing Bobby's horror stricken face. She got it all right. She doubled over in laughter when she saw Travis's expression. "I'm glad somebody thinks its funny," said Travis shortly and then sprayed some left over water from his jacket on Alexis. She squealed and they both laughed. "You both have lost it," said Bobby shortly. Alexis glared at him. "I wouldn't be talking Brat. Or tomorrow I just might put something over your door and it won't be a bucket of water," threatened Alexis. Then she turned and went back upstairs. "Are you always that mean to her?" asked Travis with interest. Bobby nodded and grinned. Soon Alexis came back down dressed and ready to go. Instead of a nightgown she had on a T-shirt, baggy overalls, skates in her hand, helmet and kneepads. "Are you ready for this," she asked. Travis caught a hint of challenge in her voice. "Oh yeah," he said and the two left with Bobby making faces at Alexis out the window. "Alexis and Travis sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G..." sang the annoying little boy making Alexis glare at him. Then she blushed a little as was her habit and the two started skating from the house. Travis only learned later who unprepared he was with all the energy that Alexis produced when skating. She was thrilled with all the sights and sounds of the big city. Travis let out a sigh of exhaustion and sat down on a park bench. Alexis smiled and joined him. Travis knew if this girl was given a chance, she could live on skates. "Where did you learn to skate so well?" asked Travis in curiosity. "I have an older sister who got me started," said Alexis. She sighed a little bit when a wave of homesickness hit her hard. "Hey look there's Darien," exclaimed Travis as he waved to another skater. "Hey," called out Darien as he waved back and skated toward the other two. "So what's up?" asked Darien as he reached the park bench. "Just showing Alexis around Tokyo," said Travis. Darien gave a dashing smile. "I hear you are a good skater Alexis. Care for a race?" asked Darien. Alexis got a competitive expression on her face. "Are you up to it?" asked Alexis. Darien nodded. Travis gave a low laugh. "Be careful, Dar, Alexis is competitive. You might be way over you're head in this one," warned Travis with a wry little smile. "Ha, I was skating before you were even born!" challenged Darien who was talking to Alexis. Alexis got a very stubborn and determined look on her face. "Prepare to eat those words and my dust!" said Alexis looking quite serious. "Once you reach the end of the 2nd block turn and come back. The finishing line is past this bench. Ready, Set, Go!" yelled Travis and the two skaters started at a dead sprint. They were both very skilled in skating and it looked to Travis if something didn't happen the race would end at a dead tie. Just then something happened on the way back. A little kid on his tricycle got in the way of the skaters. Darien was able to go around him but lost his balance slightly but the kid was in the direct path of Alexis. She built up speed and did an amazing jump with a twist over the astonished kid's head. She and Darien were almost near the finishing line Alexis gave an amazing burst of power and speed and sailed past Darien. "Wow that was amazing," said Travis as he gave Alexis a slap on her back. "That was nothing! How was that? You ate my dust!" said Alexis with a smirk to Darien. He grinned at her. " That was incredible. For a girl," he added sarcastically. Alexis made a face and punched him playfully on the arm. "This girl just kicked your butt!" said Alexis with triumph. Then she proceeded to do a lot twist and turns getting a lot of applause from the people who stopped to watch. "Show off," mumbled Darien loud enough for Alexis to hear him. "You're just jealous," teased Alexis and gave Darien a shove. The three didn't notice Serena standing off at a distance. She felt like crying. Had Darien given her up for this new girl? Travis observably had a crush on her too. Why did she have to come and ruin Serena's life? To be continued... So how did you like it? E-mail me at moondreams16@yahoo.com and tell me please!
