AN: This takes place in the first season when Darien and
    Serena do not know each other's alter egos. It will
    have both romance and action in it.

~At the park~

	Darien walked across the lawn and sat down on the
fountain side. It was a beautiful day, but he was
depressed and didn't really know why. His thoughts drifted
from one thing to another and finally ended with Tuxedo 
Mask. He shook his head and got up deciding he would go 
to the mall. Maybe he could find someone to cheer him up.

~On a Street~

	Rei walked along the sidewalk until she saw 
Darien. She didn't really want to talk to him, because he
looked really depressed and she wasn't good at cheering
people up. *Hmmm...just the opposite of Serena* Rei thought.
Not five minutes earlier she had seen her skipping down
the sidewalk like the rest of the world didn't exist. Rei 
continued walking until she remembered they had a sailor
scout meeting at 4:00 and it was 3:37. She knew she had 
plenty of time, but decided to head over to the temple
anyway.

~At Serena's House~

	Serena plopped down on her bed and noticed her 
clock said 3:54. Then like one of Jupiter's thunderbolts 
it hit her. 
	"Oh, no" she wailed, "I'm late for another scout
meeting. I gotta get my act together!"

~A few minutes later~

	Serena ran as fast as she could down the street.
*Ugh...will I ever be on time?* She thought to herself.
	Suddenly, she felt herself falling to the ground.
She closed her eyes in expectation of hitting the cement,
but it never came, slowly she realized there was two very
strong arms around her waist. They felt like the arms of
Tuxedo Mask, but when she looked up she realized it was
Darien. Serena quickly pulled away, immediately missing
the warmth of his body.
	"Ugh...thanks Darien" she said uncomfortably.
	"Hey, no prob. But what's a matter Meatball Head 
can't go around my shoe?" 
	"I told you not to..." she began, but trailed off
as she realized that what she had tripped over was his 
shoe.
	"Why did you get in my way?" she demanded.
	"Because, I just crossed the street and didn't
exactly want to get run over." Darien replied.
	"Besides, where were you going in such a hurry?
You just about ran me over!"
	"Well, I was...um...I wasn't going anywhere." 
she lied. She knew there was no way she could tell Darien
that she was Sailor Moon and was extremely late for a
sailor scout meeting now.
	"Well, in that case do you wanna go to the mall
with me?" he asked.
	"Um...sorry Darien, I'm really late so I have to
be going now."
	"But you said you weren't going anywhere." He had
caught her and he knew it.
	"Well..um, bye Darien, catch ya later." Serena
said and with that she ran off.

~The temple where Rei lives; 4:17~

	"Why can't that Meatball Head ever be on time?"
Rei complained.
	"Well, Rei, you never know, something might have
come up" Ami stated.
	" I doubt it!"

~Five minutes later~

	"I'm here! Sorry, I'm late, I ran into someone on
the way here." Serena said as she gasped for breath.
	"Ugh, can't you ever be on time Meatball Head?"
Rei complained again. Serena just stuck her tongue and 
Rei did the same.
	"Girls, girls!" Luna reprimanded, "We need to get
down to business!"
	"Right." Mina said, "Luna and Artemis have 
developed a plan."
	"Okay! What are we gonna do now?" Lita asked.
	"Well, actually it's not what we're gonna do, 
it's what Sailor Moon is gonna do!" Luna said
